Billy Twelvetrees among quartet to extend Gloucester Rugby deals Aviva Premiership

Gloucester quartet Billy Twelvetrees, Henry Trinder, Tom Marshall and Lewis Ludlow have all signed new deals with the Aviva Premiership club.

The Cherry and Whites announced on their official website that all four players had put pen to paper on new contracts, but did not disclose further details.

“It’s been a great start to the season, and it was an easy decision for me to remain at the club,” said former England and British & Irish Lions centre Twelvetrees, 29, who has made over 100 appearances for Gloucester.

“There’s a lot of hard work still to do with this team, but I’m enjoying my rugby so much here, and there is so much exciting stuff still to come.”

Fellow centre Trinder, 28, in his 10th season with the club and one of their longest-serving players, has returned to action in fine form this season following a serious knee injury.

Versatile New Zealand-born fullback Marshall, 27, is yet to feature this season due to a dislocated shoulder, while back-row forward Ludlow, 23, made his first-team breakthrough in 2013 and recently made his 50th appearance.
