Hugh Morris has described as “incredibly difficult” the decision to end Robert Croft’s 30-year career with Glamorgan. Morris, the club’s chief executive, acknowledged Croft’s “incredible contribution” to Glamorgan but conceded that, after a grim year, this was “the right time for a change”.
